In the life of every young person, undertaking university studies is a period of intensive learning, but also an interesting time of making new acquaintances, having fun, and creating social bonds. In the past, this was manifested by academic corporations – associations of students and university graduates.
With time, they developed ceremonials and social behaviours, which later became a permanent feature of student tradition. Although the times have changed, some remains of the student corporation tradition can also be observed today. This concerns not only behaviours and fun games, but also elements of the student attire. The souvenirs of student rituals, in their various manifestations, are the core of the collection showcased.
